In this month of Freedom, our August Calendar features path-breaking discoveries that freed up humanity from the drudgery of mundane existence to allowed humans to take giant strides in innovation and technology. It is difficult to decide which inventions changed the world the most. With the sophistication of technology and newly devised tools at our disposal it is more of a journey that knows no end limits. However, some of these inventions have affected us more than others and it won’t be wrong to label them as the cornerstones of human inventions.

Some of the cornerstones we have recognized here are: wheel that revolutionized transportation understanding of spherical shape of earth that changed the thought of navigation and travel modern medicine that impacted human health and hence mortality rates space travel that broadened our horizons beyond the earth wireless communication that made the earth a smaller and closer place in-vitro fertilization that scaled the barriers of physiological limitations. We intend to trigger thoughts of identifying more such impact-creating inventions and discoveries. Join BrainSTARS in celebrating this month of Freedom, freedom from the slavery of mundane thoughts, freedom to imagine the unimaginable, freedom to bring back innovation and path-breaking discoveries and inventions to the forefront of education.
